I still see a face.

You may be right. It's a fractal, sometimes there are faces.

I'd go so far as to say, if you see a face, then there is a face; and who's to say otherwise.

I just noticed another aspect of this phenomenon: once you see a face, you see it again every time you look. Once you've seen it, you can't not see it.

I can't see a face in this image, though.

Look in the top right-hand corner just above the curved "head" of the "flamenco". A ver si la ves, y si no, bueno, me queda con la ilusión.
Salu2.

I think I see it. Is it all within that black rectangle? And is it mainly two dark eyes and a nose and the dome of the head? ("Squint, man, squint.")

Forgive my pointing you to my own post, but 'mesmer's paris' is there because it has faces in it, produced in direct inspiration from your comments here. Not faces, but fractal face illusions, that is.

I thank you for the correction to 'me queda'. Without your pointing it out I wouldn't have noticed; but I understood your meaning, and that's as much as I hope for at my current nivel.

I like Mesmer's Paris a lot. The title is fantastic (in both senses of the word). I am convinced I see Napoleon in MP, among other things. And, yes, you saw the face in FR, it's the face you describe. Rather haunting . . . fits well with the overall flamenco theme. And looks like a flamenco face, you know what I mean. What comes next after being mesmerized?
